Delicious Artspace

Delicious Artspace was founded in Berlin in 2000 and is located in Zurich since 2009. We are focused on upcoming artists and want to open up unconventional modes of presenting art for public consumption. The aim is to make artistic works comprehensible and tangible within a wider objective reality.

The first regular exhibition venue was a club in Berlin Mitte, housed in a former jewellery store with large showcases that can be viewed from both sides. There then followed art interventions in various clubs and public spaces. Since 2009, Delicious Artspace has had a permanent exhibition venue in two construction trailers in the Basislager creativity centre in Zurich.

The projects of Delicious Artspace attempt to explore cultural practices and examine them in terms of their usefulness. We feature young artists from 47°22' N to 64°10' N. All projects are collectively staged and are developed in close cooperation with the artists; the exhibitions, shows and projects are the result of an intensive and creative exchange regarding the theory of art.
